Do you know?

Between the dawn of time and 2003, five exabytes of data had been created at Google. By 2010, this amount of data was being created every two days, and by 2021 it was being created every 40 minutes. "

beautiful, right?

Now let’s look into more interesting facts and how I got interested in data science.

Some years back, a picture went viral with the caption “Humans are hooked, machines are learning." I got curious, and this curiosity led me to want to know what, why, and how machines are learning. I started browsing the internet, looking at everything that contained the words "machine" and "learning."

After some research, I discovered that "machine learning is an aspect of artificial intelligence, which is roughly described as the capability of a machine to replicate intelligent human behavior."

Machine learning models are formed by acquiring data (which is a vital asset for any business when used efficiently) and training a model using this data in order to make predictions or decisions without being explicitly programmed to do so.

So, now that we know that curiosity first got me here, Along the line, I discovered a ton of reasons to continue in this direction.

  1. It’s in high demand, growing fast, and is predicted to create 11.5 million jobs by 2026.
  2. Abundance of positions as it is less saturated than other IT fields.
  3. Data science is one of the most highly paid jobs.
  4. Numerous applications as it is widely used in health-care, banking, consultancy services, and e-commerce industries.
  5. Data scientists are highly prestigious as companies rely on them and use their expertise to provide better results to their clients.

The data science field will always be relevant and vital as long as there is data (which will always be abundant). This makes data science skills the skills of the future.

So, what are you waiting for? Let’s start living the future. 😊

Thank you and bye for now.
